The local village of Keith is situated some 11 miles south of the Moray Firth coast. It is 50 miles north-west of Aberdeen and 52 miles east of Inverness, both of which have airports. Aviemore is 48 miles to the south - west.
The Haughs is half a mile west of Keith on the main A96 and one mile from the train station.
